New Earswick Indoor Bowls Club encourages participation of people with all abilities to bowl at the club. We will aim to include all members and can best serve your specific needs through individual discussion on how we can best assist you.

We have several disabled spaces close to the main entrance of the club, reserved for blue badge holders, and entry to the club is via a flat wheelchair friendly route with automatic sensor doors.

A weekly ‘Bowlsability’ session for people with impairments runs all year round on Fridays 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm. Bowlsability is an inclusive sports session for all ages and abilities.

The Rinks are accessed by stepping over the banks or via ramps on rinks 1 & 8, for those who use wheelchairs the club has two Electric Bowls Wheelchairs for use by members of the club. These options give our disabled bowlers independence on the rinks. Wheelchair rink access is by a ramp on rinks 1 and 8.
